Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman holds an Honorary Chair in Psychology at the University of California Davis and is the Director of its Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is widely recognized as the pioneer of modern studies of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and children as witnesses. The number of publications by Professor Goodman is extensive and she has been awarded numerous grants, and has been the winner of many honors international and national levels. She has provided advice on policy and research to many agencies and departments across the world. Additionally, she provides consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, which include those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was President of the The American Psychological Association's 3 divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice.
