An adult is a human being or any other animal that has attained the full growth.The biological meaning of the term is animals that have reached sexual maturity, which makes it capable of reproduction. Adults are a social concept as well as a legal concept in the human world. In contrast to a person who is that isn't considered an adult, or "minor", the legal adult is a person who has reached the age of majority which makes them independent as well as responsible and competent. Also known as "majors" They can also be thought to be at the age of adulthood. The average age at which you can attain the legal age of adulthood is 18 although definition may vary by the legal rights of the country, and psychological development.

When it comes to the life span of human beings, adulthood refers to the point at which he or she is at the point of complete mental and physical maturity. Adulthood, as it is typically understood, is at the age of around 20 or 21. Following middle age (starting around age 40), comes the age of old age (around the age of 60). As we grow older, there are three distinct stages early adulthood (18-30 years), Middle Adulthood (30-60 year olds) and Late adulthood (60%-60 percent). By the time we reach the age of early adulthood (20 to the early 40s) our physical growth is complete, although our weight and height may increase slightly. During young adulthood we reach the peak of our physical abilities.
